Take part in a contemporary technique class at Rambert's South Bank home - similar to Rambert Company's daily technique class - led by Patricia Okenwa, choreographer and former dancer at Rambert. Wed 9 Nov, 11.30am - 1pm.

Biography

An independent choreographer with 12 years of experience dancing and choreographing for Rambert, Patricia has premiered her first main stage commission for the company repertoire, Hydrargyrum in March 2016.
In this large-scale work she was able to collaborate with composer Aleksandra Vrebalov and designer Jon Bausor to create a uniquely powerful work for six of Rambert's most versatile dancers and the Rambert Orchestra.
Patricia recently worked as a movement director on Torn at the Royal Court Theatre and Collapse with NMC - New Movement Collective, who she is also a founder member of and whose interdisciplinary, site-specific productions earned them nominations for Best New Company at the 2014 and 2015 Critics Award.
