Small Business Intro to OSHA, Safety and Health Programs
SCGA and CHASM Inc., are proud to bring you a learning lab.
Did you know that Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP) are required for all California business as part of standard operating procedures?
-Do you have employees working under your supervision? -Do you understand the required California Regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) operations & procedures? -Do you know how to implement and run your own Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) in each of your own workplaces? -Did you know that they must be written, site specific and effective?
This 8 hour course is filled with the information you and your company need. It is directed at Owners and Managers who are responsible for day to day activities on site. These are the folks who are responsible for establishing a work environment and a "Safety Culture" that starts with management down. This is how it must be done in order for the programs to be effective.
-Learn about the background of OSHA / CalOSH and their Standards and how it affects your business. -Learn how to perform and document your inspection process. -Learn how to implement and maintain an effective Safety and Health Program. -Learn where you can find additional assistance for this unique, quickly growing industry.
Course participants who complete the full 8 hours of this class will receive a Certificate of Completion. This certificate starts a courtesy one year grace period that will be useful during the time you are establishing your required "operator in good standing" status.
This course is hosted and brought to you by the Sonoma County Growers Alliance in partnership with and presented by C&H Auxiliary Safety Management Inc. (CHASM Inc.)
Cost includes a student workbook and Certificate of Completion, Coffee, Tea and Water are provided.
