Refuge: A Ballad for the Renting Class is an immersive aerial theatre performance about San Francisco's shifting cultural landscape that illuminates the need for a deeper social justice approach in sheltering the city's most vulnerable citizens.
As a means of both advocacy and validation, Refuge: A Ballad for the Renting Class aims to honor the experience of those who have been forced to move. This production will depict an array of characters portraying final moments within their shelter and will tell a story of the unexpected loss of what many believe to be certain: their home.
