Fences by August Wilson (Special Engagement)
A return special engagement of Centerstage Theatre's production of August Wilson's Fences. The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama tells the story of African American garbage collector and former baseball player Troy Maxson as he struggles with life and his family. The play will soon be a major motion picture with Denzel Washington and Viola Davis, who reprise their roles from the 2010 Broadway revival. This production is directed by Centerstage co-founder Mitchell Vantrease.
