Dinner to support Washington United for Marriage
What: Totally Gay Civics Dinner with Chef Becky Selengut and Politico Heather Weiner in support of Washington United for Marriage
Date: October 8, 2012
Time: Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails 6pm-7pm, totally gay civics lesson 7-7:30, 3 course dinner 7:30 to 9 with auction during dessert.
Where: Skelly and the Bean, 2359 10th Avenue East Seattle, WA 98102
Price: $50 per seat (does not include tax, gratuity, service fee and cocktails)
Why: Because you like good food and marriage equality, but you don't know your initiatives from your referenda, committees from caucuses, or why two Democrats can end up running against each other in a general election because that seems slightly homo-political!
Menu:
Wild salmon chowder with fire-roasted tomatoes, cashew cream and thyme, with Columbia City baguettes
Roasted black cod with soy caramel sauce, bok choy and braised red cabbage
Pumpkin whoopie pies and cardamom ice cream with caramel sauce
