Bite of The Underground
Bite of The Underground Saturday, November 12, 2016 Doors at 7pm, show at 8pm Progress Lab 1422 (1422 William St.)
Tickets: $15 student, senior and un/underemployed / $20 Adult $5 from every ticket sale goes to support Luppi Cafe: community focused, zero-waste cafe, dedicated to environmental and social sustainability while providing delicious food and beverages.
Tickets at the door are CASH or Credit Card.
Neworld Theatre's Bite of the Underground cabaret night offers you a window into the diverse talent across the Vancouver cultural community. Here, on one night, you will see and hear a selection of bite-sized performances that will make you laugh, make you tap your feet, make you think, surprise you, and leave you wanting more.
Come and see some of the best of the city currently bubbling just below the surface. The artists you encounter here will change what you imagine can be found, in our city, on any given night.
The Underground Line Up
Hosted by amazing Caitlin Howden, Caitlin is a member of the award winning improv group The Sunday Service (Best Improv Troupe Canadian Comedy Awards). The Sunday Service can be seen performing to sold out shows weekly at Vancouver's Fox Cabaret.
Live music by talented Carolyn Mark. She is an alternative country singer songwriter, recently released her ninth solo album Come Back Special. She is a dynamic live performer who mixes a wicked sense of humour with her pointed songwriting.
Featuring a special performance of " Graham Clark Reads the Phone Book" by Graham Clark, 3-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee and host of Stop Podcasting Yourself.
Art work by Sean Karemaker. Sean's latest book The Ghosts We Know, published by Conundrm Press, was released earlier this year. He will be displaying artwork and reading from his book.
