Vera and Valya, the most bewitching sister act in Yaroslavl, are determined to make their magical cat, Skazka, the toast of Moscows Cat Circus. But can the circus master who wants to take Skazka to the big time be trusted? And is their pussy strictly legal? Nobody in Yaroslavl is necessarily quite who they appear to be, not even the werewolves This fractured and funny fable draws on age-old Russian fairytales and Ionesco-fueled absurdity, to create an unmooring and uplifting fantasy of shifting identities teased by frolicsome, feline ambition.
