Facts, Fears and the Future: Healthcare Reform in Washington State
On August 22nd Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler and Group Health's Executive Director of Public Policy Diana Birkett Rakow will speak at City Club. They will explore the future of healthcare in our state now that the Supreme Court ruled in June on the Affordable Care Act's legality.
We'll hear their insights on questions such as:
What does this law mean for me?
What are the impacts on those insured and uninsured, businesses, senior citizens?
How will we pay for this new model of care?
What other challenges do we have to overcome to make healthcare reform work in Washington State?
