The Fifth Sun
Fort Worth-based Artes de la Rosa's production of The Fifth Sun will be performed at the LCC. The Fifth Sun is set during the times surrounding the assassination of Oscar Romero, Archbishop of El Salvador in 1980. Against the backdrop of Mayan and Catholic culture, imagery, history and ritual, this powerful and acclaimed play presents the story of the people and the forces that transformed an ordinary man into a courageous leader.
