CABARET
Come hear the music play! This summer, City Theatre will make Austin audiences an offer they just can't refuse an invitation to Berlin's Kit Kat Klub, on the eve of Hitler's rise to power. Based on Christopher Isherwood's Berlin Stories, John Kander, Fred Ebb and Joe Masteroff's legendary landmark musical depicts the interlocking stories of a cabaret singer, a writer from America, an omniscient Emcee, and the denizens of Berlin, all caught up in the swirling maelstrom of a changing society. With such memorable Broadway standards as "Mein Herr", "Maybe This Time", "The Money Song" and the title hit "Cabaret." A divinely decadent experience!
