GODSPELL
Based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew, Godspell tells the story of the last seven days of Jesus' life and the parables he told. In this version, however, the parables are contemporized, as are Jesus, John the Baptist, and the disciples. Jesus' followers are flower children who sing songs like "Day by Day", All Good Gifts", and "Turn Back, O Man".
