Halloween is fine, but for everyone at Dirt Candy the real party happens on the Day of the Dead! This Mexican holiday beats Halloween every time with better food, more drinking, and cooler outfits, so we're celebrating with a Dirt Candy Day of the Dead Dinner!
On Tuesday, November 1st, we're offering a five-course meal focusing on the Day of the Dead for only $80, including tip.
* Snacks! Tostilocos, Dirt Candy style! Corn Brioche with Elotte Butter! Beet Tacos!
* Salsas for the table: Creamy Jalapeno! Padilla Peanut! Jicama Orange!
* Pumpkin Ceviche!
* Sweet Pea Enchiladas with yellow mole, avocado and refried beans!
* Pepper!
* Brussels Sprout Tacos!
* Dessert!
Buy a ticket now, and leave the trick or treating to children. Day of the Dead is where the cool kids are the day after Halloween.
(NOTE: As always, the price includes the tip but not the sales tax. And if the event sells out we may have to move some folks to seating at the chef's counter.)
