SWAN LAKE II: DARK WATERS PanicLab
A dark, humorous portrait of a prince stranded on an island of feathers, forced to confront his loneliness and isolation once happily ever after has expired. In this reluctant spectacle, an estranged ode to the original ballet, performer Jordan Lennie fluctuates between man and creature whose grasp on reality is growing increasingly questionable.
Swan Lake II: Dark Waters is a playful attempt to question and subvert some of the canonical values of ballet. It is a fairy story told in a minor key and attempts to find beauty in loneliness, the mundane and the pathetic. It is a visually stunning, intimate piece that is full of surprises and performed with precision by Jordan Lennie.
Suitable for ages 16+, contains nudity.
