The Elixir of Love
Written in only six weeks, Donizetti's hilarious L'elixir d'amore (The Elixir of Love) remains one of the most perfomed operas in the repertoire, and for great reason. Filled with timeless comedy and hummable melodies everyone is sure to recognize, this incredible opera is perfect for opera lovers and first-time opera-goers alike. Join director Carol Werner-Feiertag and an all-star cast from across the country, including New Jersey based tenor Jeremy Blossey, Soprano Bevin Hill, and Joplin's own Dr. Jordan Wilson. Artistic Director Nicholas Gilmore will lead the production from the pit.
