FARM-TO-TABLE SYMPOSIUM
12:30 - 6:00 pm at the Richland Community Center.  Cost $15

An event and trade meeting for buyers, farmers, and eaters!  
Make new market connections.
Join local producers, distributors, health care professionals, school staff, chefs, retailers, sustainable food advocates, and others interested in growing, distributing, and buying local food. Hear success stories, discuss challenges, learn about local options, find a farmer or a buyer, and learn about opportunities for making farm-to-table connections. Farmers, buyers, advocates, and consumers of all scales and backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Keynote: Daniel & Sheri Salatin of Polyface Farm
Polyface Farm is owned by the Salatin Family and was featured in Michael Pollan's book, The Omnivore's Dilemma and Food, Inc.  Through relationship marketing, the farm today services more than 3,000 families, 10 retail outlets, and 50 restaurants through on-farm sales and metropolitan buying clubs in Virginia and Maryland.  Learn more about Polyface Farm at: http://www.polyfacefarms.com/

FARM-TO-TABLE DINNER
7:00 - 9:00 pm at the NW Regional Food Hub.  Cost $35

The Northwest Regional Food Hub (NWRFH)is a collective of local farmers, bakers, ranchers, beekeepers, orchardists, and small businesses, working together to provide local customers healthy, sustainably grown, minimally processed food from right here in the Mid-Columbia. NWRFH is located at 603 Goethals, Richland, WA.

Cascade Harvest Coalition (CHC) is a non-profit working Statewide to connect farmers to farmers, eaters, and markets. CHC is dedicated to helping farmers by connecting them with tools and resources they need to be more sustainable and viable. This event is part of a series of Farm-to-Table Trade Meetings that are being held throughout Washington, organized byCHC and local community partners.
