The Nutcracker 2012
From the bizarre battle of the mice and soldiers to the mesmerizing snow scene, to the delectable dances in the Kingdom of the Sweets, your family won't want to miss Midwest Ballet Theatre's highly acclaimed, annual performances of Tchaikovsky's holiday classic, The Nutcracker! Based on the original Petipa production, choreography for this full-length ballet is by MBT artistic director, Mim Eichmann. Our guest artists this year will once again be April Daly (Sugar Plum Fairy) and Mauro Villanueva (Cavalier), both principals with The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago!
