Event
Julius Caesar
Shakespeare's classic, Julius Caesar, explores the conspiracy against Roman dictator Julius Caesar, his assassination, and the later defeat of his conspirators. Despite the machismo intention of this tragedy, the dialogue reads as some what feminine. In a world where girl-on-girl violence dots the media, and movies like Heathers and Mean Girls are widely successful and studied, an interpretation of this hierarch-toppling tale featuring all teenage girls in a high school setting, feels all too fitting.
