ROOM ONE (Hosted by fearless queer poet / rapper / artist / activist Liv Wynter - artist)

They've performed everywhere from Glastonbury to the Royal Albert Hall, as well as touring internationally. 'The Sex Pistols of Balkan Brass!' - Time Out.
Jean "Binta" Breeze MBE - An internationally reknowned dub poetry pioneer, director and script writer who has spoken publicly about her own experience with schizophrenia. https://literature.britishcouncil.org/writer/jean-binta-breeze
Sunday Assembly East End presents Boys Don't Cry- a secular assembly focused on masculinity and mental health, featuring sing along classics with a live band and a talk from hip hop educator and founder of May Project Gardens KMT Freedom Fighter. Hosted by zen wideboy Mikey Matania, youth wellbeing trainer and Mindfulness expert at Mind.
The Channel One Band - Sound Minds house reggae outfit, a massive hit last time! As featured in this beautiful short film 'The Day We Danced on the Moon': https://vimeo.com/28682505

So what exactly is Peerfest?
2016 is the 4th year of Peerfest, a one day conference and celebration for and by people with lived experience of mental health problems, funded by Mind and hosted by Sound Minds in collaboration with Antenna Collective and Sutton Mental Health Foundation.
The event aims to inspire delegates through workshops, creative activities and debate about peer support practice. Peerfest 2016 will be a forum to make connections, share and learn. Antenna are hosting the after party, which will be free to delegates and ticketed for the wider public.
Antenna is a London based arts collective and community building initiative. Since 2013, weve been putting on eclectic, ambitious bespoke events and mini festivals celebrating and supporting small, mostly London based organisations working towards progressive change.
