"Classical music has been primarily dominated by a European composition model. In more recent years, the form has been the focus ofexperimentation with enormous success. Join us as we dive into the modern African-American interpretations of music with, you guessed it, composers who are still alive! Works by Indiana University Jazz Professor David Baker, California-based composer Charles Washington and Chicago's very own, Kimo Williams, Professor at Columbia College.
