This event is a on-site presentation by master woodworker, Yann Giguere, who has spent 20+ years perfecting his craft. This session would be a presentation of his current projects on a contemporary house designed by Zeitlin Architects, including a stairway, Shoji screen & door, and some exterior elements. He will also show us some amazing tools and techniques perfected by centuries of use. In addition, we hope to have a group discussion on the design and install process about how he works/designs versus the architect and some ways that works well or could be improved.
