The Wedding Singer
Based on the hilarious 1998 comedy starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, The Wedding Singer is the totally radical story of New Jersey's favorite wedding singer, Robbie Hart, whose life takes a turn for the worst after he is stood up at the altar at his own wedding. That is, until he meets the ever-sweet Julia, but alas, she's already engaged to Glen Guglia, a pompous Wall Street shark. With catchy tunes and energetic dancing, it's sure to be a party every night. The film is brought to life on stage with music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin.
The production stars Keith Caram, of Hudson, as Robbie Hart and Mara Foley, of Worcester, as Julia. The cast also includes Jon McCauley (Glen), Charisse Shields (Holly), Alex Pappas (Sammy), Brandon Hetherington (George), Sharon Kivnik (Rosie), and Sarah Morrow (Linda).
The show is directed by Matthew Sherman, music directed by Jessica West, and choreographed by Caroline Fonseca.
