In April 2008, eight foolsFURY members went on a three-day cruise to begin research for a new play. This is the story of what we expected, what we found, and the strangest, darkest, funniest things we imagined filtered through the brilliant mind and pen of Sheila Callaghan, one of the most compelling playwrights in the America theater today.
A rollicking black comedy, POSH is set on a luxury cruise ship where an eclectic group of seekers form an intimate temporary community. Untethered from the baggage of past or future, they become entangled in a strange, disturbing ritual.
POSH offers a surreal view of a pampered society accustomed to purchasing piña coladas and spiritual bliss with the same swipe of the credit card. Don't miss our most ambitious production ever!
