Creative Dyeing- More ways to use Alcohol Inks
In this class, guest artist Daylene Moss will be introducing some more advanced techniques for Alcohol Inks such as blending, using mixatives and pigments with the alcohol inks and markers. Students DO NOT have to take the Introduction class to participate in this class. We will cover the basic steps using the dyes; however, we will be exploring new ways working with different mediums. Lots of fun artwork will be taken home.
Our Intro to Alcohol Inks is on October 19th. Description: This playful class will introduce alcohol inks and markers in an intuitive and relaxing way. Students will learn special techniques on how these highly fluid, transparent, dye-based medium inks can work together to create pictures that have the look of brilliant stained glass. We will discuss color theory, principles and elements of design, as well as composition tips while exploring with these fascinating dyes. Each student will take home a few ready-to-be-framed art pieces.
