Betty's Summer Vacation! by Christopher Durang
Betty is looking forward to a relaxing vacation at the ocean. Unfortunately, her housemates include a chatterbox, a landlady oblivious to anyone's discomfort, a sex addicted hunk and a shy, withdrawn young man who just may be a serial killer. Throw in voices from the ceiling and a flasher and Betty has one vacation she'll never forget. Rape, dismemberment, murder, and a laugh track. Betty's Summer Vacation won the Obie award for best playwriting. Playwright Christopher Durang received the Tony Award for Best Play for Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.
The Bare Bones Theater cast features Gabrielle Marie, Sinead Atkinson, Andrew D Anneo, Joan St. Onge, Stephen Zuccaro, Stephen Shelowitz, Jason Moreland, Evan Cannon, Kelly Schmidt and Thomas Romanski
