Gary Kodner & Howard Megdal/Cardinals Sports Night
Gary Kodner
Kodner has followed Cardinals baseball since he was a
child, collecting memorabilia and researching the teams
history, not only as a fan but also as a professional
graphic artist. He has spent over 30 years of his career
as a creative consultant to the St. Louis Cardinals. For
his most recent book, St. Louis Cardinals Uniforms and
Logos, An Illustrated History, Kodner and his co-authors
worked closely with the Cardinals and team president
Bill DeWitt III. Kodners son and co-author, Oliver, spent
countless hours authenticating each uniform kit and logo
for every season featured throughout the book.

Howard Megdal
Baseball journalist Howard Megdal takes fans behind
the scenes and off the field, interviewing dozens of
key players within the Cardinals organization, including
owner Bill DeWitt Jr. The result is The Cardinals Way,
an in-depth, fascinating story about a consistently
good franchise, the business of sports in the twentyfirst
century and a team that has learned how to level
the playing field, turning in season after successful
season. Megdal lives in New York with his wife and two
daughters. This is his fourth book on baseball.

Single tickets are $25 each; Premier Passes (good for all JBF author events throughout the year) are $95.00.

Free student tickets are available only at the J's Box Office at the Staenberg Family Complex in Creve Coeur or at the door of the event with a valid ID.
