MICHAEL SOLOMONOV & STEVEN COOK
Ever since he opened Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia in 2008, chef Michael Solomonov has turned heads with his original interpretations of modern Israeli cuisine. His cookbook, with co-author and restaurateur Steven Cook, earned the James Beard Book of the Year and the Best International Cookbook (2016). Zahav showcases the melting-pot cooking of Israel, especially the influences of the Middle East, North Africa, the Mediterranean, and Eastern Europe.
