Churches of the Holy City"
December 8 at 2 PM | Churches of the Holy City focuses on Charlestons religious liberty, telling the stories of groups of believers that emigrated to Charles Town to pursue that freedom: Presbyterians, Congregationalists, Baptists, French Huguenots, and Lutherans, to name a few. Nine of Charlestons historic churches will be highlighted on this informative tour; learn of the architects and architectural styles that influenced their designs, the disasters that befell these religious structures, and hear of their survival and renewal.
