TAAC's Stones in His Pockets
What impact could a Hollywood film being shot in a small Irish town have on its residents? We find a celebrity film star, an eccentric Assistant Director and the townsfolk lining up to be extras in the film for the small pay and even more important food.
The Alternative Arts Collective excitedly brings you Stones in His Pockets, by Marie Jones. A 2-actor cast of 14 characters, Don Hayden and David Blue Garrison play Charlie and Jake (as well as 12 other characters) in this hilarious yet sobering tragi-comedy about the fragility and possibility behind people's hopes, dreams and ambitions.
Directed by Ashley Eigenman, Stones in His Pockets will be playing a limited run at the Geery Theater in Midtown Sacramento on October 14, 15, 21, 22, at 8 p.m., 16 at 7 p.m., 15 & 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at www.taacproductions.com.
