True South Pop-Up Dinner

Chef Cory Bahr of Heritage Catering has teamed-up with Atlanta-based Chef Wesley True to bring the first True South pop-up dinner to Monroe on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Tower Place Terrace. General Admission, VIP and Super VIP tickets are now available and are inclusive of all food, beverage and live entertainment,

General Admission: $100
Tickets include a five course dinner, live entertainment, premium wine, cocktails, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Inclusive of all tax and gratuities.

VIP Chef's Table Tickets: $225
10 guests will dine at the Chefs Table enjoying an intimate dining experience with Chefs Bahr and True.

Super VIP: $350
6 guests will have the once in a life-time opportunity to prep and cook behind the scenes with award-winning Chefs Cory Bahr and Wesley True prior to the dinner. Super VIP ticket holders will also enjoy a happy hour with the Chefs, light bites and other VIP amenities prior to the dinner and exclusive Chefs Table seating with a private server.

The nights menu will pay homage to the true South, featuring a menu of seasonal dishes and local ingredients inspired by both chefs heritage, life experiences and personal passions. The five-course dinner will consist of:

1st Ham cured Simmons catfish pate & Jurgielewicz & Sons foie gras, vanilla pickled beets, sesame cucumbers, dill pickled potatoes, fried bread

2nd Smoked Springer Mountain chicken thighs, crispy oysters, white BBQ, bread & butter pickle salad

3rd Wood-roasted Gulf fish, charred carrots, cilantro salad, coriander vinaigrette

4th Jurgielewicz & Sons Korean BBQ duck, cauliflower-green curry grits, salted almonds, watercress, Thai chili glaze

5th Fig pie, rosemary & sea salt caramel, buttermilk, sour orange

Live entertainment by Dan Sumner and Friends and all non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages provided by local brewers and distillers are included in the ticket price. Tower Place Terrace is located at 1500 North 19th St. in Monroe.
