Playwrights begin writing at 8pm on Friday August 3rd, rehearsals begin at 8am Saturday August 4th, and by 8pm the audience sees the result.

Behind the three board members of Actor's Basement are seven socially conscious feline advisors, leading lives enriched by their forays into set design, script consultation, and artist mentorship. But when mere survival is a challenge, little time is left for art. This is the situation faced by feral cats throughout Sonoma County, and at the behest and continual mewing of our advisory committee we are doing something about it by supporting Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County.

Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and control of feral cats in Sonoma County through the TTVAR-M method. They also pull "adoptable" cats and "tameable" kittens from colonies to be fostered and then put up for adoption. FFSC works to protect and improve the lives of feral cats through local spay/neuter programs, placement services, community outreach and nationwide education.
