Cultural Resources: Planning and Permitting in the Shoreline
Join us for a day of discussions about how we address cultural resources as part of the shoreline planning and permitting process in Washington State. Hear from archeologists; local, state and federal regulators; and tribes about how to work together to ensure cultural resources are protected when engaging in shoreline development. Discussions will address resources and tools, legal basis for requirements and use of Shoreline Master Program planning and permitting process.
In the afternoon we will visit a cultural resource site on the beach at Woodstock Farm.
