FREE Morning Hidden Harbor Tour Aboard the New York Waterway Ferry
Explore the New York Harbor you have never seen before, and can only see by boat, on the New York Waterway Ferry. The New York/New Jersey Port has the highest container traffic on the east coast. In 2008, the dollar value of all cargo that moved through the port exceeded $190 billion, a new record. On this tour narrated the Working Harbor Committee, you will be a witness to the part of our harbor that holds and fosters the economic engines that drive more than a quarter of our regional economy.
Please note the early departure time of this tour. Plan to take the 10am ferry from the Battery Maritime Building in Manhattan. This is the first ferry of the morning and the only one which will arrive in time for this tour. The first ferry from Brooklyn will not arrive in time for this tour. Please make your way to Pier 102 as soon as you can after disembarking from the ferry.
