Ceramics Class at Piermont Straus
Starting on Thursday, October 6, from 6pm to 8pm, Piermont Straus will once again be offering ceramics classes. Our class will focus on hand building techniques using both porcelain and earthenware to create bowls, dishes, and ornaments for your holiday table.
October 6: intro to hand building techniques: pinching, coils, slabs, slipping and scoring, impressions in the clay surface. Design and begin projects.
October 13: Build projects & problem solve.
October 20: Surface work and glazing in Laura's studio.
October 27: Completed project viewing and party.
Classes are $200 per person and include all materials.
