With his ritualistic online search for meaning, he piques the interest of a budding film crew looking for outrageous stories. Cody's brother Oliver has similar existential proclivities. He takes a deep interest in Seattle's visual landscape, a landscape facing constant construction and destruction. In The Boy Who Lived Before, family dynamics, urban life and identity are all in flux.
