A collaborative film by artists Paul McCarthy and Mike Kelley based on the childrens novel Heidi. The film brings together an elaborate set, a series of rubber figurines, and two backdrop paintings in order to question sexually repressive social hierarchies, the conventions of horror films, and mass media portrayals of family life.
