Variety on the High Seas
Set sail for Dragon Theatre on Friday, October 7 for Variety on the High Seas: a rollicking theatrical burlesque adventure, featuring burlesque, song, dance, circus, sea monsters, and pirates!
Drawing on burlesque's history of combining camp with seduction and comedy with tease, this one-night-only production brings some of the South Bays finest burlesque, pole, belly dance, and contortion artists together. Join our Captain (played by DeeDee Queen) and her first mate (dancer Lexy Lemondrop) on the hunt for the Golden Booty--an elusive treasure, made more elusive by the appearance of sea monsters, storms, and a roving band of pirates (Scarlet Conte, Magnoliah Black, Felicia Drake, and Fèline).
