Cellar Sessions
Another wonderful afternoon in the barrel room at Old Oak Cellars hosted by Brad Colerick featuring I See Hawks in LA and Tony Gilkyson. Tickets are $22 advance/$25 door. Light snacks are provided along with complimentary wine tasting. Bring something to share/enjoy with your wine. $5 from each bottle sold goes to MusiCares. Dress warmly the wines like it cold!
Formed in 1999, the Hawks have long been known for their signature sound: high lonesome three part harmonies, innovative telecaster and steel or unadorned acoustic arrangements, with lyrics musing on mortality, whales, and the geography of pre-apocalyptic L.A.not exactly the trucks and tight jeans fare of todays mainstream country. Their music is always delivered with love and humor by Robert Rex Waller Jr, Paul Lacques, Paul Marshall, and Victoria Jacobs.

Coopers mixture of flat-picking, finger-picking and percussive strumming style is legend among other guitarists. An expressive singer his voice is ageless evoking a rich lifetime of experience.
