The Student Prince
This Broadway smash hit was the longest running musical of its era, and then received a whole new life from a 1954 MGM film version sung by Mario Lanza. This predominately Southern Oregon University student performed version of The Student Prince stars Gaylen Schloming as Prince Karl Franz and Michelle Cipollone as Kathie. There are two performances, Sept. 9th at 7:00 pm and Sept 10th at 1:00 pm, both at the Grizzly Peak Winery located at 1600 East Nevada Street in Ashland, Oregon. Tickets available on this site are $25.00 for General Admission, $35.00 for Table seating, and $15.00 for students and are for the Saturday Sept 10th performance only, which is a benefit for the new piano fund at the Ashland First United Methodist Church. For tickets to the 7:00 pm Friday Sept 9th performance go to www.jcconcerts.org and click on the purchase tickets for that date. Grizzly Peak Winery (www.grizzlypeakwinery.com) is a beautiful new venue and will have a no-host Foodtruck and Winebar service beginning at 12:00 pm for this event.
