Literacy Summit 2016
Join nonprofit and government agencies, community advocates, volunteers and parents to network, develop new skills and share promising practices. This literacy event offers a wide range of sessions presented by local, state and national educators. Sessions are designed to provide you with new ideas and hands-on strategies that you can put to work for your program and students. Sessions promise to be interactive and are sure to help expand your knowledge on a variety of topics related to education, literacy, advocacy and parent engagement.
This year's event features Yolie Flores, the Chief Campaign Officer with the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, which is a collaborative effort of foundations, nonprofit partners, states, and communities across the nation to ensure that more children from low-income families succeed in school.
Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, International Paper. The event is presented by Literacy Mid-South as part of the Mid-South Book Festival.
