Pizza Seminar: Your Trees in a Changing Climate
What does climate change mean for your trees? Are the past three years of record heat and drought a trend or an aberration? How do you manage for climate resilience in your forest? Should you be planting different species like redwood or sequoia? What is the actual evidence regarding climate change, how do you separate this from hype? Award-winning USFS scientist, IPCC member, and Skagit County small woodland owner Dave Peterson will explore these questions and explore how forest owners can manage for healthy, resilient forests whatever the future may hold.
