The final hazy crazy days of summer call for one last Bugalú blast - and Lookie Lookie is just the band to do it.

Note that there are four tiers, from basic tickets at $15 to sponsorships, all in limited numbers. We do appreciate it very mucho when folks opt for the higher tiers. After all, where else do you get a dance party in a loft with an eight-piece band, food and drinks, for anything remotely approaching these prices? Y la gente es de lo más amable!

The event is a PARTY. We supply food and drink, we ask you to bring more of what you like to drink and perhaps some food if you're in the mood. Mostly more drinks!

Lookie Lookie plays Latin Bugalú, a super fun 60s sound that combines Afro-Caribbean rhythms with rock and soul sensibility. The lyrics are in Spanish and English, the band features four percussionists, three horns and bass - and five singers.

The band is an all-star assemblage of sensation-seeking sybarites:

Chris Maclachlan (Human Sexual Response) - bass
Vicente Lebron (Either/Orchestra, Club D'Elf) - congas
Jorge Arce (Raiz de Plena, Humano) - bongo, cowbell
Rick Barry (Bim Skala Bim) - timbales, more cowbell
Ken Winokur (Alloy Orchestra) - percussion
Scott Getchell (Lars Vegas, Agachiko) - trumpet
Ted DeColo (Funky White Honkies) - alto sax, flute
Russ Gershon (Either/Orchestra, Orchestra Morphine) - tenor sax, flute
