29th Annual Hollywood Forever Cemetery Walking Tour
Learn the history of early Hollywood from the final resting places of its early pioneers, stars and movie moguls during a 2-1/2-hour walking tour sponsored by the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles. Docents guide tour groups through the 113-year old cemetery, telling Hollywood's history by the people buried here.
Tours depart every 20 minutes between 10-12 p.m. from the fountain, inside the main gate. (Last outgoing tour leaves at 12 noon). Cost is $20 per person for general admission. You will not receive a physical ticket, rather your name will appear on the list at the door of the event. It is not necessary to specify a tour time. Upon arrival you will be admitted to the first available tour.
Art Deco Society members are FREE! Current members, in good standing, need not purchase tickets.
Ample parking is available inside the main gate off of Santa Monica Boulevard. Please follow the signs, or verbal directions of the parking attendant. Since Hollywood Forever is a working cemetery, they often reserve parking for for services during the day.
To maximize your enjoyment we recommend comfortable walking shoes, water and sunscreen (it can be warm, even in October). We will have water for sale, or you may bring your own. Do not forget to bring your camera!
Restroom facilities are available at the entry to the cemetery.

Hi! The Brown Paper tickets site only shows a noon entry time. Are the earlier tours sold out? |

No, you can show up any time bewteen 10:00 and noon and we'll put you on the first available tour. |

Is there a designated parking area/lot? Also, it shows that there are 1000+ tickets left. Does that mean there is no worries about this being sold out? Finally, if a group of us friends arrive together at the same time, will we be able to stay together in the same tour? What is the maximum number of people in a tour group? Thanks! |

No, there is not designated parking, but since Hollywood Forever iw a working cemetery, you may be asked to park in a certain area. We are able to accommodate many tours, and we have never turned away patrons. We limit the tour size to approximately 20-25 people. If you have a group that size, it is best to let us know ahead of time at 310-659-3326. You do not mention your group size. When you arrive, let the check-in table know that you prefer to tour with your friends. Upon the arrival of the last in your party, we will put you on the next available tour. |
