Beas days are made up of comfortable routines leisurely mornings with coffee and the news, attending the Senior Ladies Water Aerobics Class at the Y in the afternoons, lunches and Early Bird Dinners at Dennys with her gal pals Phyllis and LaVerne, evenings in front of the TV. Widowed for more than 50 years, Bea is a realist with no romantic illusions. She remembers the past as an idyllic romantic dream, a dream from which she awakened long ago. She faces facts, and the facts are that shes old now, and love and passion are only for the young. Or are they? Does the need for love change just because we age, or are we always in the mood, no matter what the calendar says? Bea and her friends will soon find out.
