OPERATOR - A New Comedy/Satire
In its' 30th season, Mountain Community Theater's "New Works Night" presents the World Premier of "OPERATOR" - a new comedy/satire written by local playwrights Spencer Bullock and Naomi Gorham.
A brief summary of the play:
"Johnny Dash is a sullen private detective trying to eke out a living in 1940's Chicago. He is encumbered by nasty habits and depressed by bad business.
Then, along comes an unusual case that puts Johnny Dash to the test: Can he best some upstart criminals; keep business professional with his client and her underlings; and, maybe, rediscover a hint of a better man within himself?
"OPERATOR" is a gritty noir tale and a pointed satire that indulges in contemporary absurdism without modesty."
