From Rationing to Ravishing - an Ivan Sayers show of WWII and postwar fashions
Word War II had a profound influence on women's roles in society and societal attitudes towards women demonstrated by the transformation of women's fashions during the 1940s and 1950s. During this fashion show, Ivan Sayers will provide historical commentary on fashion design while showcasing dresses and occupational uniforms from his extensive personal collection.

Ivan Sayers is a fashion historian who specializes in the study of  fashions from 1650 to the present.Sayers has one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of historic clothing in private hands in Canada.
