Dans un village au Malawi, un adolescent a un rêve : que lui et sa petite sur sortent de la pauvreté. Mais quand un coup du sort brise ses espoirs, tout semble perdu et il est confronté au choix ultime.

Dzaomalaza, un jeune musicien est amoureux dune jeune fille. Leur romance se déroule bien jusquau jour où il découvre que son amie sort avec un homme marié. A ce problème se mêle plus tard une grossesse. De qui est cette grossesse et quelles sont les conséquences sur leur relation ? Dzaomalaza Et Les Mille Soucis met en avant différentes problématiques auxquelles les jeunes font face.
