With an Eye for Detail I: Richard Guy Wilson
"Creating an American Architecture: The Federal and Early Republic Period, 1783-1820"

Examples of Federal architecture abound. But what really defines this period in architectural history spanning from the late 18th to early-19th centuries? Learn how Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Henry Latrobe, Robert Mills and other celebrated architects created a unique American identity, through an investigation of buildings and monuments such as Homewood, Monticello, the U.S. Capitol, and the Baltimore Basilica.
