With an Eye for Detail Lecture Series
Over three consecutive Monday evenings in October, Johns Hopkins University's Homewood Museum will present the 12th anniversary season of its Baltimore's Great Architecture lecture series as part of AIA Baltimore's 2012 Baltimore Architecture Month. Presentations by architectural historian Richard Guy Wilson (Oct. 8: "Creating an American Architecture: The Federal and Early Republic Period, 1783-1820"), leading scholar of American material culture Bernard Herman (Oct. 15: "Celebrating Creativity in the Details"), and award-winning neotraditionalist architect Gil Schafer III (Oct. 22: "The Enduring Appeal of the Federal Style: Classical Tradition for the Way We Live Now").
