Ballet Tucson - 2016 Opening Night Gala
Spirit Garden (world premiere)

Renowned artist Lawrence W. Lee, the music of Tucson's own internationally celebrated troubadours Calexico, and Ballet Tucson collaborate on this unique celebration of "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead).
Perseus & Andromeda (world premiere)
Choreography: Daniel Precup
Following the success of "Gemini", this is the 2nd installment of Precup's "Greek Heroes" series - visually rich with the gods, monsters and mythology.
Red, White & Blue!
Choreography: Chieko Imada, Mary Beth Cabana
The company's light-hearted salute to patriotism rounds out the program.
Opening Night Gala includes:
Pre-performance wine and buffet reception
Silent auction
Live musical entertainment
Post-performance champagne and dessert reception with artistic staff and company dancers
