Maresfield Gardens
Theatre 33 is proud to present "Maresfield Gardens," its first fully staged world premiere production. A solo performance written by Susan Coromel and Directed by Rod Ceballos, this play has been in development for more than a year. It had its premiere reading in April, and now returns to our stage after a series of staged readings at the juried SpringWorks Festival in Stratford, Canada. Alone in Anna Freud's consulting room, a woman comes to terms with her life in the shadows. Born into the Tiffany family fortune, and after decades of psychoanalysis with the Freuds, Mabbie Burlingham reveals the startling key to her freedom. Maresfield Gardens is a surprising and devastating tale of survival as told through the tragic lens of early psychoanalysis
